TELARUS LAUNCHES WHITE LABEL SERVICE IN NEW ZEALAND

Key Channel Partnerships Established & Further Growth Expected

Auckland – 5 March, 2010 – Telarus, the leading infrastructure-based service provider in New Zealand and Australia, today announced it has launched a white label service that has been taken up by two key channel partners in New Zealand, MHA and Unleash.

Telarus has received significant interest from other potential channel partners. Having established a point of presence at SkyTower, one of the major “meet me” points for service providers in Auckland, Telarus is well placed to interconnect with partners looking to expand their service suite.

Telarus has invested heavily in infrastructure to develop its business-grade Trans-Tasman MPLS network, which it uses to deliver seamless high performance network solutions across New Zealand and Australia. The company has developed a wide range of industry leading managed services that connect directly to its network, including Telarus Managed Firewall and Telarus Virtual Server.

These well-established offerings are available as white label products to New Zealand resellers, enabling them to add value to their existing services without having to invest in the technology and infrastructure themselves.

Jules Rumsey, Telarus CEO, said, “To cater for the requirements of Unleash, we provisioned a virtual router to terminate its Internet customers, handing off the traffic from these services to Unleash via a single Ethernet VLAN. Telarus also enabled proxy radius such that Unleash can manage authentication for its own clients, handling suspension of accounts directly.”

Telarus has designed and delivered a number of options to suit the various needs of MHA’s clients in New Zealand. Jules Rumsey said, “The Solutions Engineer that has been assigned to MHA has designed a number of options that MHA can select from when deploying solutions for its customers. Leveraging a fibre-based interconnect to MHA, Telarus typically delivers the traffic for each customer via a unique VLAN so as to ensure the security of the customer’s network.”

The company has also developed a co-branded bill format which will also be attractive to partners. As billing for voice services is typically more complex than the billing for data services, this service will be most beneficial for partners wishing to speedily launch new products to market.

“We’re delighted to have quickly established two strong reseller partnerships with Unleash and MHA for our white label services. We look forward to delivering dedicated and secure Telarus managed services to enhance business operations in New Zealand,” said Jules Rumsey, Telarus CEO. “We will continue to leverage our Trans-Tasman MPLS network to carry additional managed services that are under development. There is strong demand for Telarus managed services in New Zealand. We see huge potential for further channel growth,” he said.
