For users who have a need for extremely high-performance infrastructure, Telarus can offer Ethernet services delivered via fibre-optic cable starting at 4Mb/s and scaling all the way up to a massive 1Gb/s.
As an alternative to fibre, Telarus has expanded its range of Premium DSL services to include new high speed services based on ADSL2+ and 4-Wire SHDSL. Premium ADSL now offers speeds of up to 12Mb/s downstream and 640Kb/s upstream, whilst Premium SHDSL offers speeds of up to 4Mb/s symmetric.
For customers that want a service that is faster than Premium DSL but are not in a position to step up to fibre (possibly simply due to geography), Telarus also provides an option known as “channel bonding”. This is a technique whereby multiple DSL services are combined or “bonded” to deliver total bandwidth equal to the sum of the services being bonded.
Telarus is able to bond up to four channels of DSL, delivering up to 48Mb/s downstream and 2.5Mb/s upstream with Premium ADSL or 16Mb/s symmetric with Premium SHDSL. In the past, such speeds were typically only able to be delivered using fibre.
