Public Cloud

Public clouds are owned and operated by companies such as Amazon (Amazon Web Services) or Microsoft (Microsoft Azure) and offer rapid access to affordable computing resources over the Internet. With public cloud services, users don’t need to purchase hardware, software, or supporting infrastructure as this is owned and managed by the providers.

Public cloud resources can be connected to a Telarus Private Network via a dedicated interconnect to a Telarus Managed Network. As a result, the public cloud is effectively segregated from the Internet reducing the probability of hacking, intrusion and malware.

Key aspects of public cloud:

* Best of both worlds – Public Cloud services (including Azure and AWS) accessed via a secure Private Network

* Flexible, scalable infrastructure for storage and compute services on demand

* Access to SaaS business applications including Office 365, customer resource management (CRM), transaction management and data analytics

* Cloud-based application development and deployment environments
